The Buckingham not only strives to make life more fulfilling for its residents but also for the greater Houston community, including the Alzheimer’s Association. On June 21 – the summer solstice, which is the longest day of the year, the Alzheimer’s Association raises funds to shine a light of hope and fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s. Participants choose an activity they love or that someone they are honoring loves and participate in it from sunrise to sunset.
